Old Ahmed's presentation

Date: 16-5-2012

Time: 11:00am

Location: W007

Subject: Air Pollution

Presenter: Old Ahmed

Introduction:

Old Ahmed began his presentation by giving us the definition of air pollution and he showed us a colorful diagram which represents the toxic elements and talked about it because he couldn’t name some of them.

He then mentioned the causes and the consequences of air pollution by showing some slides and talked about it and adding some more information.

Ahmed gave us a lot of useful solutions; he talked about all of it in a nice way and the best solution he mentioned is using gas instead of gasoline for the cars.

His body language was perfect and he kept his eyes on us all through the presentation.

Everybody asked him some question; because all of us are doing the causes, but he answered confidently and he has a good amount of information.

New things which I learnt:

Perfume causes pollution.

The UAE is the 2nd country in the Middle East which has this problem.

China has the highest amount of air pollution in the world.

My presentation reflection

Date: 2-5-2012

Time: 10:10

Location: W007

Subject: Carl Benz

Presenters: Yousef, Ameer

First, Ameer stared the presentation by introducing Mr Benz  and giving information about his life; he talked about the development of the car ,then handed the turn to Yousef ,who continued the development of the old cars, which are : Wagan, Victoria, Velo and Netpener, and compared Victoria to the new Benz S600.  I got good information; for example it was the first time that I knew the gas was sold in the pharmacy; I was really shocked.

The slides were in dark colors like brown or black and white; I guess the colors were connected with the topic because they were talking about old cars.

There were a lot of questions from Old Ahmed who tried to trick Ameer and Yousef, but they answered all the questions. Mr.Hedley asked about the size of the engine, but the answer was so simple: we don’t know.

Their voice was clear and I could hear it from the back seats. English: their language was good; they had some verb mistakes, but I guess because of stress; their eyes were always on the audience.

The presentation was informative, it was good , I enjoyed it.
